What is a residential campsite?
A Residential Camping is a "specially developed camping ground" that allows the installation of leisure homes (chalets) and mobile leisure residences (mobile homes). These leisure residences are a true alternative to country houses.
The Camping du Château de Bouafles**** is a true property offering a wide range of recreational activities and services: children's play areas, sanitary buildings, para-hotel services... A simple country house can hardly offer as much!
The residence belongs to you, but you are not the owner of the land; you rent your plot for the year. In our park, you will find plots of various sizes, shapes, and exposures, offering private spaces for everyone. Everything is designed to ensure privacy while providing shared spaces for connection and exchange.

A secondary residence at a lower cost
You are investing in your residence or leisure home, and that's it!
On your plot, all the connections (water, electricity, sewage) are ready to welcome your residence without any additional subscription fees being charged. The rent for the plot is set annually; charges and taxes are included in the rent.
Maintenance of the common areas is handled by us. All that's left is for you to enjoy your own space, which you can personalize as you wish, while benefiting from the leisure activities and services offered by the campsite. And... why not invite family and friends to gather and share a moment of conviviality!

Our goal is to provide a green setting with diverse activities where a family spirit prevails.
An internal set of rules ensures the protection of the park, its guests, and the preservation of a friendly atmosphere for everyone.

Our charter
- The change of mobile homes is not mandatory every 7-10 years, as is sometimes heard in other campsites, although we prioritize the installation of newer, more eco-friendly, durable, and energy-efficient products (HLL, RLL) for new arrivals.
- The prices of new mobile homes are those recommended by the manufacturers.
- The budget is clear: the land rental includes consumption costs (water, electricity) in an amount calculated for normal use by a family. The only additional expense to consider is the insurance for your property, which is often an optional offer from your primary home insurance (not very costly).
- Fees for installation services are charged at the most reasonable price.
- Guests of our residents are not charged.
Services to residents
Would you like to organize a family event in a cheerful and friendly atmosphere? Our fully equipped barnum tent is available to host your event. Our team will do everything possible to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Maintenance of your plot can be handled by our team.
- If you need the services of a local craftsman or are expecting a delivery, we can accommodate them or receive your package during your absence.
- For people with disabilities, the Château de Bouafles**** Campsite offers two sanitary facilities and a specially designed and accessible mobile home for people with reduced mobility (PRM). Our commitment is to continuously improve our infrastructure to provide them with maximum accessibility.
- Finally, we care about your well-being: two defibrillators have been installed in our park, and an emergency number allows you to reach us 24/7.

Our Eco-Responsible Approach
Located near the Vexin Regional Natural Park and the Boucles de Seine Natural Park, in an exceptional environment, Camping Château de Bouafles is particularly committed to preserving this natural space.
Our goal is to enable residents to fully enjoy the advantages of our park while safeguarding its natural assets. Beyond this local approach, we are also striving to reduce our ecological footprint on the planet. Numerous projects are currently under review to achieve this objective.
Raising awareness among our residents and staff about the impact of their individual contributions toward this goal is also a key factor in ensuring its success.

Respect the environment
As part of our commitment, we have prioritized:
- Solar or low-consumption lighting for outdoor areas,
- The use of electric vehicles for park transportation,
- Selective waste sorting and composting of green waste,
- The use of environmentally friendly cleaning products and treatments for green spaces,
- The gas offered for sale includes the "100% carbon offset gas" option at no additional cost,
- Partner companies are, as much as possible, locally based.
We encourage our residents to do the same: during your stay at the Camping Caravaning du Château de Bouafles****, you will be invited to participate in simple yet effective actions such as waste sorting, using reusable bags, and water leak detection.
Acting for the planet
- Most of our outdoor lighting is low-intensity solar, as light pollution is a source of disturbance for biodiversity. What's more, in keeping with the approach adopted by the village of Bouafles (classified as a “starry village”), we are able to observe the sky from 10 p.m. onwards.
- We have chosen to entrust the removal of our waste to a local company committed to minimizing the environmental impact of waste and mindful of its social responsibility.
- We are committed to replacing the gravel used to stabilize our pitches with accessibility and turf protection mats, thus improving water permeability and reducing the use of weedkillers.
- And a number of projects are currently under study (electric charging stations, tree planting, vegetable gardens, etc.).
