What is a residential campsite?
A Residential Campsite is a “specially developed campsite” authorizing the establishment of light leisure accommodation (chalets) and mobile leisure residences (mobile home). These leisure residences are real alternatives to country houses.
The Château de Bouafles**** campsite is a real property that offers a whole range of leisure activities and services: children's play areas, sanitary buildings, para-hotel services... A simple country house can hardly offer you so much!
The residence belongs to you, but you do not own the land and you rent your plot for the year. You will find in our park plots of various sizes, shapes and exposures which offer everyone private spaces.
Everything is done to ensure that everyone's privacy is respected while providing places for sharing and discussion.

Our engagements
Created more than 50 years ago, the Camping Caravanning du Château de Bouafles**** without constraints or standards imposed by groups or franchises, maintains a human vision of our profession.
Our goal is to offer a green setting where the activities are varied and where the family spirit reigns.
An internal regulation defines rules in order to protect the park, its occupants and to preserve a friendly general atmosphere.

Resident services
You want to organize a family event in a good-natured atmosphere. The rental of our fully equipped Barnum-tent welcomes you for this event. Our team will do their best to ensure that everything goes as smoothly as possible.
- The maintenance of your plot can be carried out by our team.
- You need the intervention of a local craftsman or you are waiting for a delivery, we can welcome them or receive your package during your absence.
- For people with disabilities, the Château de Bouafles**** campsite has two toilets and a mobile home specially designed and accessible to people with reduced mobility. Our commitment is to improve our infrastructures to offer them as many possibilities as possible.
- Finally, we take care of you: two defibrillators have been installed in our park and an emergency number allows us to be reached 24 hours a day.

Our eco-responsible approach
Located near the Vexin natural park, the Boucles de Seine natural park, in an exceptional environment, the Château de Bouafles campsite is particularly concerned with preserving this natural space. Our goal is to allow our residents to take full advantage of the assets of our park, and to preserve this natural capital. Beyond this local approach, we also seek to reduce our ecological impact on the planet. Many projects are under study to achieve this objective.
The awareness by our residents and staff of the impact of their individual contributions in achieving this goal is also a success factor.

Act for the planet
- Our outdoor lighting is mostly low-intensity solar, light pollution being a source of disturbance for biodiversity. In addition, by accompanying the approach of the village of Bouafles (classified starred village) observation of the sky is possible from 10 p.m.
- We have chosen to entrust the removal of our waste to a local company very committed to minimizing the environmental impact of waste and concerned about its social responsibility.
- We are committed to a process of replacing the stabilization gravel on our pitches with accessibility and lawn protection mats, thus offering better water permeability and reducing the use of weed control products.
- And many projects are being studied (electric charging stations, tree planting, vegetable gardens, etc.).
